She Said She Said

She Said She Said is an exhibition of new monumental metal sculptures alongside smaller ceramic works by Arlene Shechet, on view at Pace’s 508 and 510 West 25th Street spaces from September 11 through October 24, 2026. The works are made from aluminum, Cor-Ten steel, and clay, include a Touching Ground series that uses the ancient terra sigillata technique, and show process marks such as cuts, folds, seams, welds, and joins while engaging ideas of lightness, precarity, color, and construction. The exhibition also includes artist-made aluminum folding chairs and will be accompanied by a new Pace Publishing book of conversations between Shechet, Arthur Jafa, and Lauren Cornell.
