Intimate Legacy

Jackson Pollock

Sep 11 - Oct 24 · Tue–Sat, 10am–6pm

540 West 25th Street, New York, NY 10001

Jackson Pollock: Intimate Legacy presents Pollock’s works on paper—sketchbook pages, silkscreens, engraving and drypoint prints—along with a rare Pollock sculpture and paint‑splattered stools from his studio. The exhibition gathers intimate objects that document Pollock’s practice and inner circle, including a drawing kept by his therapist, sketchbook pages once held by Lee Krasner, print suites associated with his brother Sanford McCoy, and two rare complete print suites plus one of only five complete sketchbooks (the only one still in private hands). Works on view range from an untitled double‑sided drawing from 1939–1940 to sketchbook pages from 1950–1954, silkscreens from 1951, and engravings and drypoint prints from 1944–1945.
