The exhibition runs November 5–December 12, 2026 at David Zwirner’s 537 West 20th Street and 533 West 19th Street locations and includes new paintings and drawings, recent sculptures, and early works selected by Yoshitomo Nara. At 20th Street the presentation includes newly completed 2026 paintings—front-facing portraits with direct gazes—recent large-format monochrome drawings made with industrial oil-based paint sticks, and works that begin with colored-pencil framework drawings developed with translucent acrylic washes; at 19th Street thirteen 10-times sculptural enlargements from 2024, coated in white urethane on bronze, are on view. The exhibition coincides with Yoshitomo Nara: Sentinels of Stillness at the Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden, which will show three 16-times enlarged sculptures from October 31, 2026 through November 7, 2027.
