Leiko Ikemura presents new paintings and sculptures that explore the relationship between perception, body, mind and space; the title de sensu ("through the senses") refers to the exhibition’s focus on experiences beyond the purely visual, using suggestions of touch, imagined sounds and scents to expand perception synesthetically. The installation is organized around three green figures — Green Baby, Green Mom and Dear Spirit — with green walls and yellow and dark blue light accents, and includes works such as mamagirl and Green Mom (tempera and oil on jute) as well as the new bronze sculpture Milk Lady, which addresses care, transformation and renewal.
